OK - now she did it! Mother Nature is messing with my mind! At 5:00 this morning it was 46 degrees in downtown Cleveland! It feels like a spring day out and then the are calling for snow flurries tonight! @###@#$$$!!!

We're having a heat wave...a tropical heat wave....

It's going to be in the mid-to-high 40's later this week, and the snow has already started melting away from the sides of the roads and my driveway... :D

I beat both of you, it was 68 here. Now we are under a severe thunderstorm watch. Go figure, snow and ice on Saturday and severe weather tonight. What the heck is going on with Mother Nature?

I seen several Robins today and from what I have been told, that is a sign spring is on the way. YIPEEE! :D

It was in the paper the other day that someone in a neighboring town saw the first Robin...eating a FROZEN apple! :lol:

Maybe spring is coming soon. I just seen on the news that Daylight Savings Time begins March 11.

And according to the Microsoft site with the time changing earlier, it is going to mess with some of the calendars that people use to schedule meetings and things like that.

I know that I'm not really looking forward to losing an hour of sleep! :x

Microsoft is recommending a patch be downloaded - I don't know if it's on their site yet or not. It will fix the daylight savings time problem with Windows-based systems. Would be worth a look. I'm going to check it out tonight at home.

There is a patch ready to download through the critical updates. But they are still warning people that use the conference calander to send reminders til all patches are complete and downloaded. This new time change is going to mess up alot of things.

it's like Y2K all over again....but this one has more of a chance of coming to pass than that one ever did.

I think it's because we have this cold snow and warm air. It's like STEAM!

I couldn't even see the road last night driving home.
And it's STILL foggy out.

This weather is just weird this year....I've never seen anything so weird..

I know what you mean Jessi - it was pea soup coming in this morning and now the sun is shining! Strange day!

The fog was so horrible on Wednesday morning you could barely see five feet in front of you when you were driving. It was pretty scary. It was more like a haze that took half the day to burn off. After that it was nice. Yesterday it was so windy, it felt really cold. Hubby heard they are calling for freezing rain this weekend and possibly more snow next week. Okay, it's almost March. I am so ready for spring :-)

Okay, I have seen robins over the last couple of weeks. They have been so fat ! The sun it out this morning and I'm hearing the birds chirping. Is that a good sign?

I sure hope so! It looks like the midwest is in for another round of bad weather. My grandma and my mom both ask the question, What have we done to mother nature?

I am frozen - and the weathermen are calling for a mixed bag. I guess today is supposed to be the best day of the weekend. But I have seen alot of robins lately too.

They are calling for freezing rain today. Oh yeah!

I think I would take freezing rain over tornados, high winds and hail that we have coming our way as we speak. It is suppose to be like this all day and throughout the night.

I'm afraid of tornadoes! I have lived through 3 major hurricanes and a bunch of little ones and tropical storms, but never any tornadoes.

Where I live we are surrounded by lake Michigan, so tornadoes are very very rare, and they don't usually have much power.

I had to pull this back up. It is 8 degrees today..The windchill makes it -20. I don't think I have ever been this cold in my flippin' life. I am crabby and miserable and can't go anywhere because the roads are too bad. I want to go home. Please, someone console me.

OMG...How weird, I just read the first page of this thread...The weather is exactly the same.

LOL fins, I guess I should not say that it's cold here today with the cold front that moved through, it's only going to be a high of 60. I'm just North of Palm Beach County.

It was nine degrees here last night- and I though that was way too cold!!

Sure Fin's you can visit, as long as you don't mind the 3 dogs, 2 cats, 2 kids and my evil, Errrrrrrrrrr I mean my lovely wife. LOL I'm going to be in trouble when she sees this post :shock:

I LOVE NEW YORK CITY BUT I HATE JANUARY MONTH IN NYC.
NEW YORK AND SOME STATES OF USA HAVE A VERY COLDEST WEATHER IN JANUARY.
WHEN I WAS IN NEW YORK ALWAYS I TOOK MY VACATIONS IN JANUARY.
ONE TIME I HAVE TO WAIT THREE DAYS IN HOME AND SOME HOURS FOR GOOD CONDITIONS IN THE AIRPORT BUT I DID NOT CARE ABOUT IT.
I THINK FLORIDA WEATHER IS GREAT JUST LIKE MY COUNTRY IN BRAZIL.

Wow, I would love 40 right now!! It is a balmy 10 degrees today.

no jacket required today here in CA...60's.

I can't get warm...We have a fire going, but I am still sitting on the couch watching the game with a down comforter over me. My husband and little boy are running around in short sleeves, they say the house is hot!! I've had it, to top things off I need a thermostat in my car..I have no heat! So I get to shiver all the way to work tomorrow.

Now that's another issue altogether..My car. It's a 2005, and I've been having all these miniscule problems lately. Probably because it's so cold. Gosh, I'm crabby.
