So, am i correct that the credit card companies can call up to any amount of times a day, and tie up my phone with their calls? They switch from one number to another believeing they are the swift ones.I was going to settle with them but, from their own lack of understanding,They will get what i will give them and like it.I have tried ot reason with them and they even talked to my husband and then changed their story when it came time to recieve the payment. And, this was Capital One, the guy had the damn nerve and tell me diffrent. Then, proceeded to tell me how long he has been in the business for ,like i give a rip.So, is this fair treatment??I think not.

CAPITAL1hassle is a horrible credit card.
capital1 needs to be stoped and they abused people

Happy Super Bowl Sunday. Painted pony, I do understand your frustration with the collection calls. But, please realize if YOU do not handle this debt the correct way YOU are the one that is going to be the loser here not them. Please calm down and let us help you. Are you dealing with the credit card company directly? Or are you dealing with a collection company for the credit card company?

I would get names or ID numbers of the people who call me each time, and when they call again (and they will) tell them that you made arrangements with the name of the person you spoke with there, and tell the operator to check the notes on the account. Sometimes the previous operator doesn't document on the account. Another good rule of thumb is to have them read back what they document.

kscornell i'm so angry with capital1 because my
husband is paying every month capital1 and cap.1 wants 144.00 this month and call my house many times to ask for a permission to them for take 144,00 from his payment(ss disability 623,00 a month)and these
people was calling many times in the morning for a bill of 520,00 that increased to almost 600,oo after
my husband paid almost a 100,00 to them.thE NEXT month a lie about the account was sold to citibank
and now a 144,00 charge plus a balance extra again with fees.
my husband is blind and mentally ill and he sleeps
very well now.I'm disconnecting my phone for hours now.the credit report said minimium of capital1 accounts is 20,00 and 18,00.if my husband paid more
to them is for nothing because the money disapeared.
i think is better pay the minimium here (20,00)OR a hole balance if you have money and be sure capital1 close the account and dont give to bad debt collectors to charge it again.
i hope many people complaint about capital1 .
