I have a charge on my credit report for VISA/DSNB at 911 Duke Blvd.
Mason, OH 45040. You can't see the last four digits of card number, and I don't have a card with the first 12 numbers in my possession. There is no phone number to check on this charge or card. What options do I have? I can't even dispute the charge.

kimc - do a Google search by VISA DSNB on the address, or go to whitepages.com and do a "reverse address search". That should bring up a company name, unless it's unlisted.

Many people are seeing this suspicious account, VISA DSNB, in their credit files.

Did you ever have a Macy's card? This card has a connection with VISA/DSNB reporting. Call this number 1-866-593-2543 and verify the account.

Hey there! It seems that a lot of people have had the same problem. I just got my credit report today and saw VISA/DSNB on mine. Have you applied for a Macy's card? It so happens that if you apply for the Macy's card you are also being considered for a visa. So you are actually getting two different cards with different numbers and credit limit. You can always cancel your visa account...Here is some info: 911 Duke Blvd Mason,OH 45040. (513)398-5221

I am very grateful for the information you have provided for everyone on VISA/DSNB. I was one of those people who got a Macy card and found out from the credit report that I also have the Visa. The thing is I have never apply for a Visa and never receive any information about it. Thank you for the telephone number, this help a lot!!!!

Thank you all for the information you've given on VISA DSNB. It saved me a great deal of money and much aggravation. I thought I was in for the run-around of identity theft and the credit report companies weren't offering much advice. Thanks!!!

this info is greatly appreciated. I was extemely worried that someone had gotten my ID and when I called the number I was given I was on hold for 45 minutes before having to hang up. Yes I have gotten a Macy's card which intend on cancelling. No one told me anything about getting this and like others I would have never known if I hadn't gotten a credit report. Once again thanks

I too was approved for a VISA card that I never received. Thanks to this site, I got the card canceled. Now how to report this scam to the proper authority? I want VISA/DSNB off my CR.

I also received this. How sneaky of Macys! I never liked the Macys card anyway and to have them upgrade a store card without your knowledge, signature and approval is just unacceptable.

Won't canceling now have a negative effect on your credit score?
This is the only inquiry I currently have and am extremely angry.
I will be applying for a mortgage this year and do not want anything to negatively impact.

I asked them to cancel this extra card 6 months ago, and guess what,...they never did. I recently called them and insisted they cancel all credit cards with them, I urge you all to do the same. As consumers we need to take a stand against corporations who abuse our trust and requests.

Does anyone know how to go about having the card sent to you?? I noticed the same thing on my credit report with the VISDSNB and it has a credit line of $6,000. I never received the card and to make matters even stranger, I never had a Macy's card. I had a Stern's card back in 1997 and I guess maybe it was converted when Sterns was switched to Macy's. So, if I call them and ask for the Visa card, will they send it? I could use some credit right now ;)

I just received an alert from Identify Theft that Macy's issued me a Visa that I did not apply for. There was no phone number on the report and if it wasn't for this site and a consumer writing in with the phone number, I never would have been able to call and cancel this Visa. Ph: 513.398.5221 I asked the customer rep why a Visa was issued to me when I did not want or even authorize them to check my credit report for approval of a Visa. They told me that in the paperwork they sent me when I applied for a Bloomingdales, that unless I checked the box which states that I do not want a Visa, they automatically issue one and are authorized to run a credit report on me. To me, this is a SCAM!! I told them they need to do the opposite, do not issue a Visa unless we check the box indicating we want the Visa. Who ever reads this information? It is clearly a trick to issue Visas to the consumer and many people are not happy about it.

Make sure that you request a letter written from Macy's indicating that the Visa account was closed. I also closed my Bloomingdale card because I refuse to be set up again on one of their scams! Who else are they feeding our private financial information to?

Thanks for the info everyone. I just called the 1-866-593-2543 mentioned above and they cancelled the VISA card and said they would mail me a new Macy's card that would just be for the dept store. Also ask for a confirmation letter closing the Visa acct. When I asked if I would receive something in the mail, the response was yes, we can mail you a cancellation letter. Better safe than sorry if they are putting this on our credit reports.

Visa/dsnb is a visa card associated with a recent bloomingdales account - one card, two statements. It is a bloomy's card in store and a visa card out of store. Call 1-877-859-0259 to cancel if you would like to.
Visa/fdsb is macy's associated visa card. How rude that they do this!!!!!!!!!!
