Hello,

I am looking to consolidate my credit cards into one payment plus some back association dues I owe. Last year I had to resign from the military which also cost me my civilian job I had with the government and only recently got a full time job. However, because of the job lose and working temp jobs in between I racked up a lot of debt on my credit cards and fell behind on my association dues. I have a mortgage which is current so I only want to consolidate the credit cards and my association dues before they foreclose on my home. I did receive a collection letter for the association dues so the sooner I can do this the better!

Robert

Calculate your total expenses and income and figure out how much you can afford in paying your debts. Give maximum priority to the regular bills and necessary household expenses. Once you know the amount that you will be able to pay towards your debts, call the credit companies and make a proposal. There are chances of them accepting your proposals. If you make a couple of payments, they will be convinced of your plans and offer reductions in the interest rates.
