AI seen in my credit report

HI GUYS
my name is nicolae and i did have a bad experience whith AI... now the problem is this: i had a collection whith this guys in feb o2006 and paid in full but i recently saw in a credit report that they didn't clear it up...my banker says that i have to ask them for a receipt stating t i've paid in full - which i already did - but they didn't send it...I'm planing on colling again on monday but i could real use some help!!!

How did you make the payment? Is there any proof by which you sh
How did you make the payment? Is there any proof by which you show the account is already paid off? With this, you can dispute the item with the CRA and get them investigate on the collection agency. The CRA has to remove any incorrect item that is reporting in your file.
