The Grammys....

I'm not watching the Grammy's. I stopped watching those award shows. They are just a bunch of over paid people with too much money who act like they are in high school competing for the most popular. They are probably drunk or on some type of precription medication. Or a combination of both.

Turn it on for a few....See if it seems weird to you....

I haven't watched any award shows in a couple of years. They just don't interest me much anymore. I'm watching "Fun With Dick and Jane"...needed a good laugh tonight! :lol:

I just watch to make fun.

But tonight is just ridiculous....Everyone who speaks rambles on and on...Like they're trying to make up time.

I'm getting ready to watch out here on the west coast, Jessi--I always enjoy watching celebrities make asses of themselves!

I think the last award show I watched was when Angelina Jolie & Billy Bob Thornton were still married. They were pawing all over each other on the red carpet, with her father (John Voight) standing right behind them. They announced to the reporter standing in front of them, "we just f***ed in the car on the way here". The reporter, understandably shocked, fumbled a bit, and they repeated it for him, word for word. John Voight looked absolutely humiliated. That kind of turned me off on the award shows.

It seems to have turned from the classy Hollywood party it used to be into a "let's see how outrageous I can be" event. There are still some classy stars out there who show up dressed to the nines, and are gracious to the reporters and fans without making outrageous statements or wearing something that shows all they own and half of what they borrowed....but they are becoming few and far between.

I tuned in early for the Grammy's because I wanted to see the Police perform. After that I changed it to Desparate Housewives. I don't mind some awards shows though. They can be entertaining to see how people react.

Well I must be getting old---they couldn't even hold my attention! Now the Oscars I get excited about!
