please help! I need help with Pay day loans in Texas.

I believe NC doesn't allow IPDL companies to lend in your state. Check with your state laws and confirm whether they are storefront lenders or online.

I live in Texas, the name of the place in National Cash Lenders and they are an online company. But I also have one with Advance America (storefront)

National Cash Lenders automatically debits my account so what should I do? Advance America claims that with the check they are holding I could go to jail?

Search any topic on this issue and get confirmed that you cannot go to the jail for holding a check. I will advice you to call the company and arrange a repayment. Post some payments towards your account and this way, you will keep yourself out of any problems they can create in your way. Not paying anything sounds risky when you know you owe them.

I plan on repaying both, I just can't do it like I have been each pay day. I called them to set up payment arrangements and they keep saying they will only break it into two payments and if I don't do that they will deposit my check and if it comes back NSF then they will go after me for writing a bad check.

You should send one payment as per the arrangement. They will know that you want to clear off the debts. Once they have posted the payment to your account, put a proposal again. It will be looked better from the situation that you find yourself at this moment.

Try to reach a repayment agreement with the storefront, in TX the pdl law does allow for criminal prosecution if you default on the pdl because you closed your account.

Usually with storefronts, if a check comes back NSF, they will give you a certain amount of days to pay before they proceed with any legal action. This same scenario happened to me, but the storefront allowed me to make payments on the returned check.
