does SOL apply for those who leave country right after credit card debt occur and remain out of country???
SOL is always applicable right from the date the account goes in
SOL is always applicable right from the date the account goes into default. The original creditor will try to collect on the debt and possibly get a judgment, if the amount is huge enough to afford the court costs and fees. When someone remains out of country and there's a court case filed by the original creditor, there are chances that he will find a judgment in his mailing address during his return.

I may be wrong on this but some states have something called"tolling". In certain cases sol is frozen until you would come back to that state. You would need an attorney to confirm this. I only know laws of Louisiana and that knowledge is because I live there.
