Nat - I did Ebay for a long time myself. I believe the "buyer credit" is like a gift certificate. I think the buyer uses that to apply a Paypal gift certificate to their purchase. I could be wrong, though.

I tried to figure out what it was on the paypal website, but it just gives minor details. When I tried to research on it, the only thing I can find is that it is used to finance large items over $199, and you have mnthly pmts. It can be used to fund your paypal account when you don't have $$$ in it, and says that only certain items allow it. I need to find out how to get it cancelled b/c I don't want another bill. I don't even know for sure if that is what it is for..

Ohhh, I see. I guess I was wrong then. I thought it was like a gift credit or something. I haven't used Paypal or Ebay for a while. It's an interesting idea, but doesn't Ebay also offer buyer financing, or is that the same thing as what's offered on Paypal, and not something done by Ebay? I mean, Ebay owns Paypal, so it wouldn't make much sense for them to compete against them.
Paypal buyer credit???
Paypal buyer credit is done by GE credit services and it is like a credit card your minimum payment is $10 a month according to the credit limit they give you you can apply for it in the paypal site. The other service they offer is thru citifinancial (personal credit) like for auto, boats etc. won't recommend that one.
Pay Pal Buyer Credit is Fraud
I use Paypal for Ebay and somehow they, "GE Credit Services" got me hooked up and somehow ran up my bill to $260 with these $25 late charges. They are CROOKS.
