Payday Loan mess. mycashnow sent an email

Mizzgriz, Welcome to the forums. Credit Protection Depot collects for mycashnow. They are not going to do anything. You are not going to jail. There are no debtors prisions anymore. I got exactly the same e-mail from these people after I had overpaid them by thousands of dollars. Go to http://www.paydayloaninfo.org and look up your state laws on payday lending. Also check your secretary of states website to see if they are registered to do business in your state which I bet 99.9 percent they are not. Most important contact your Attorney Generals office ASAP> COMPLAIN thjats how we shut these people down. Best Wishes and keep us posted. KYSIDE38

There is a lot of good advice and information on this forum. Read, listen, learn and follow and you should be able to start making some head way. As far as the PDL's go, I know by listening and learning information from this forum, I have been able to get 3 marked PIF and 3 I am still working on. I have managed to get the withdrawals reversed by my bank, able to find another bank that will open an account for me even with me having several overdrafts and have gotten a lot of encouragement. We are still stuggling and trying to get things back on track, and this site has been a tremendious help. It also helps to not feel like you are alone out there and that there are many people out there that have made the same mistakes you have made. Hang in there!!!

It is great to see you on here encouraging others, good for you. How are you? Feeling better I hope. Sounds like everything is working itself out. Did you get your refund check? Did everything go well there? I sincerely hope so.

fedup ~ I guess I am doing ok. Just trying to figure out the house situation. We did get the refund and it took care of one payment but that still has us owing 2 because a check was returned due to the pdls. We are going to try to make another payment when we get paid again in 2 weeks, but by then the next month's payment will be due and we will still be 2 pymnts behind. Right now I am just praying that a miracle will happen. My son caught me the other night crying about this, and bless his heart, he has offered his paycheck, but it would not be right to take what few dollars he makes. He has been taking care of his own school lunches, and has put a little back for his graduation stuff, but he needs to have a little spending money too. He works for his money, so I don't feel right taking it from him. My husband and I are talking about going to couseling to get things back on track with us, after we get caught up a little bit. I am just tired of fighting all the time. But right now, I just have to take one day at a time. Thanks so much for asking though. Kind of nice to have someone ask how I am doing once in a while.
