I am in need of some desperate help because I have payday loans up to my eyeballs. I was wondering if there any way that I can consolidate them?

burgkd -

Welcome to the forums!

If you signed up for the free counseling when you registered for this site, you will receive a call soon from a consultant who will offer debt consolidation or settlement programs, including payday loan debts.

However, it is possible you may have already overpaid some or all of your payday loans, and with a little work, might get them marked paid in full.

Can you provide us the following information:

-state you live in
-lenders you are dealing with
-whether they are storefront or internet-based lenders
-amount of each loan
-how much you have paid on each one

I know that may seem like a lot of information, but it's worth it in the long run, if you can get these loans marked paid in full, and not have to deal with them any more!

Please post that info, and one of us will help the best we can. If you have any questions, please feel free to post them - we're here to help!

You will need to sit down and figure out how much you have paid each of these guys so far. I purposely defaulted on 8 or 9 loans because I could see no end in sight with their fees. Once I defaulted all the fees stopped and I had one amount to deal with from each company with payment arrangements. They will be pretty nasty at first but if they want their money, they will cooperate.

I revoked all ACH by sending a letter certified, went to another bank, opened another account and changed my direct deposit so I could pay my bills to live. Also you will want to send them a revocation of wage assignment, just in case they snuck one in on you in their fine print. Hang in there, you will be ok. Time and patience pays off with all these predatory lenders.

After you figure out what you have borrowed and what you have paid, some may owe you a refund, some may just mark the account paid in full, some will harass the crap out of you. Hang in there, and stay in touch, we have all been there and will help you through the process.

Welocome to the forums. Advance America is a storefront. Go in and make some type of payoff arrangement with them. Send complaints in to your Attorney Generals office consumer division on the internet ones. Also check to see if they are licensed to do business in your state. Secretary of State website. If they are not licensed and you have paid back the principal say goodbye to them. KYSIDE38

Also dealing with advance america, I went into the store front and gave them $250, owe them more yet, but they were more receptive to working with me once they seen my efforts. I also have checkngo online to deal with yet. I have made payment arrangements with cashnet usa, worldwide cash, quickdraw and advance america. I have completely gotten rid of payday yes, cash transfer center, gdfil, eastside lenders and arrowhead.
Wow, did not realize there was so many till I wrote them done.
Anyway, point is you will make it through this and with help of this forum, you will be able to do it quicker. Hang in there and stay tuned.
