IRS Debt.

Sometimes.. But the IRS will work with you if you call and make arrangments..
I had a consolidation a while ago and they said they would help me with the IRS but I had already did it myself..

For me the IRS was easy to deal with on my own. I think I owed them close to $700 and they allowed me to make payments of $25 a month. The refund I was getting this year they just took it and applied it to my balance and I still owed about $10 and they just considered my account paid in full. If you communicate with them, they will defiantly work with you. Just keep up with your payments.

The IRS worked with us too. We have an automtic payment going to them out of my husband's paycheck and we should have them paid off in May. We also found them easy to work with. Hopefully there will be a refund this year.

The IRS is usually pretty reasonable, depending on the amount of debt owed. If paying what you owe would be a hardship, they have programs for that too, but you do have to call them.

Like everyone said IRS debt can be negotiated. You will need to call them and get the arrangements done for you.

What do you mean by the "other part of a consolidation program?"
