Newbie here...
Hello,
I want to know if creditsolutions.com (CS) can reduce my 49k debt to be paid off for 26k in 36 months as claimed with little affect on my credit. Or some personal stories would be appreciated. I've already negotiated a rate of 7.9 for the unsecured loan and they're still claiming to cut the debt in half. Please weigh in...

:)

I have no idea about this company but the deal really looks good. Make sure that you first do the research work on them with your local AG's office and check out the consumer feedbacks. Anything bad about their business will first be reported there.

Also, read the terms and conditions very carefully before signing the contract. You should have everything clear before signing the agreement copy.

Is this a consolidation plan or a debt settlement plan?

This reply might be a little late, but I would NOT use creditsolutions.com. My ex-wife just left the company as one of the credit reps. The company is going through major turmoil and will more than likely be filing for bankruptcy in the very near future. They have screwed numerous people and are involved in several lawsuits by customers that have paid their payments, but creditsolutions did not pay off their debt as promised. The company can't even cover payroll right now and is bilking sales people on thousands of dollars worth of income as well.

NO, NO, NO, Credit Solutions is not a good answer. Please read ripoffreport before you make a decision.

Credit Solutions will make you promises they cannot and will not deliver on. Their main purpose is to make money for themselves. After six months in their program, I am in Chapter 13. They tell you they will stop harassing calls from creditors. I had to get an unlisted number. They say they will settle your debts for about 40% of the amount owed. IF they get you a settlement offer it will be for much more than that, and it will have to be paid within three months. If you owe a company $9,000, they may get you an offer for $6,000 to be paid in three installments. If you had the money to do that, you would not need them. You can settle your own debts with your creditors for better terms. You will never speak to the same person twice, and will not have calls returned. Chances are, you will be sued and served with papers from your creditors. I have had judgements with garnishments rapidly approaching. Credit Solutions forced me into bankruptcy!

CreditSolutions.Com is an OK company. They have helped me settle my chase accounts for about 1/2 of what I owed. I've had some problems with them handling capital one though...But they have been featured on NBC.

I have been with Credit Solutions since May...... I have put aside money in an account like they instructed.... No settlements have come my way.... My fico score dropped over 100 points since I decided to try debt settlement instead of dealing with the creditors myself.... My accounts are so deliquent that I now would have a hard time bringing them up if I left Credit Solutions.... I am kind of stuck and they have called them to voice this concern... The individual handling my case swears up and down that this will all change.... Did I make a mistake?
