Has anyone seen the new payday loan association tv commercial? They make it seem like they are the good guys just trying to make a living. I thought it was funny.

Never fall into this assumption that payday loans are going to solve your problems. These lenders will suck you dry and just for this purpose; they are doing this loan business. They hide the real thing and make their ads so beautiful that you fall into their catch. Spread the word not to take these loans. Only a handful of people know about the dangers, but the majority of people are still unaware about the consequences. Just spread the word to stay away from the pdls. One person stands to say and many people get heard.

Well, I thought the PDL's would solve my problems but as we all can tell, they create more problems than the ones you were trying to solve. Now that I am getting my finances in order, I can see how plain stupid I was for taking out those PDL's in the first place. Never again will I fall into that trap.

Well, glad that you learned a very big lesson from this short experiences. It could have been even drastic and what you learned now will always keep you cautious in the future. Take it as a fruitful experience and focus more towards your finance. Keep the debts as lower as possible and stress more on increasing your income. That will sure be the perfect financial planning. It's not at all impossible! Give a try.

In my newspaper yesterday was a full page ad stating payday loan industry was changing some policy (like allowing extension without fees) and was stating that payday always stated it was a short term loan and people didn't follow that. It also said they would no longer state in commercial for people to take out individual loan for "frivolous" reasons. It was signed by owners of about 16 pay day loan companies licensed in state. That ad must have cost plenty for them to feel a need to "clean up their image"

If I ever deal with one again, I am going to state them my state law up front, try a little negotiation know that I have a little knowledge. I will have fun with it if I ever try it again. Doubt I do, but if I do, I am going to blast them with my terms of the loan. Wonder if they will be so eager to give me the money then?

Hey, guys. I saw some kind of payday loan association ad last night stating how they offer short term loans, and people should never take out more than they feel comfortable paying back in that short term. Well......isn't that a crock of dookie? I saw that ad last night while I was eating, and I almost spit my KFC across the room!
