Most Internet PayDay loan companies do not wish to enter the courtroom. It brings too much attention to their other activities; such as dealing in states that they are not licensed in. If you get a loan from a company, which you find out is not legally allowed to make loans to people in your state; take the money and run. It is all yours, and they dare not make a big issue out of it. They would rather lose a couple hundred dollars, than lose thousands in fines and penalties.
Payday loans suck

Not only are these loan companies wreaking havoc in American society, but also, the so-called collection agencies contacting consumers who do not or can not repay the whole loan. Such a collection agency, located in Jacksonville, Florida, is Bass and Associates. This crooked company, which uses a UPS store as a mailing address, is well known to consumers, as one of the leading companies which utilize illegal tactics when telephoning a debtor. They will call a debtor, mostly at their place of employment, and begin telling them that they are to be brought up on bank, check fraud, and a whole array of white collar crimes. They will go on to say that an officer will show up at your job, unless you wire the money to them within an hour or so. The Florida Attorney Generals Office, as well as many other states are conducting an investigation into this illegally run, collection agency. If anyone recieves a call from Bass and Associates, do not fall for their illegal, strong arm tactics. Tell them that you know your rights, and they will be reported to the Florida Attorney General's office immediately. Do not send them money. Prevail over politics
Payday advance lenders must pay attention: if it????????s Peoria, you????????ve gotta keep ???????em separated. Washington politicians will part them with their mighty hands, and they shall shudder. Or petitioning the City Council might work. The Peoria Journal Star has reported that the ???????clustering??????? of ???????convenience cash stores???????-no fax payday lenders-is bringing down property values. It????????s just a ???????spacing??????? issue, claims Pat Landes, the city????????s Director of Planning and Growth Management claims. Urban decay can be prevented, according to the plan, by keeping them at least 1,500 feet apart. What they don????????t seem to be considering is the consequences of stifling competition. Spreading them out will only lessen the incentive to drive down interest rates. I guess that????????s the way business goes in the big city. Fortunately there are some people that are thinking clearly, Attorney Randy Ray states ???????the law is you cannot regulate to the point where it????????s impossible to locate (within city limits).??????? Payday advance will prevail over politics as usual.

I didn't think otherwise, Paul. It just struck me as ironic and thought it might lighten the mood on this thread. Didn't quite work out that way . . .
