Hi, I'm new to the forums. About 4 months ago I was naive and stupid and signed on for loans in the amount of 200 dollars from:
Interim Cash
Premier
B&L Marketing
DMS Marketing
Cash Supply
United Cash Loans
Loanshop

I am obviously horrible with money but also naive. I don't have any of the contracts. Could anyone tell me if some of these companies are the same? If not could someone please give me some advice?

Dee, First of all WELCOME!!! Here is your first step. Go to http://www.paydayloaninfo.org and look up your state laws on payday lending. Figure out how much you have paid each one in total. Complain to your Attorney Generals office. Consumer division. Best Wishes Keep us Posted. KYSIDE38

I can't tell you if any of them are the same company, but here are the laws for NJ:

They are prohibited in your state, therefore the companies shouldn't have lent you the money. Can you post how much you've paid back so far to each pdl? That can help us in determining if you still owe any money, or if your loans should be marked paid in full.

So far in total I've paid 1,645 dollars to them in total. I got a call about a week ago from Cash Supply saying that I still owed which makes no sense to me but I still said yes to it not thinking. I just wanted to get out of it.

B&L Marketing:240
Interim Cash:190
United Cash Loans:230
Loanshop:300
Cash Supply:445
Premier:240

Are you sure that the PDL's are prohibited in my state goudah?

That is what the state law says. I would call the number for the New Jersey banking department if you have any questions. Plus they are only allowed to charge a maximum of 30% for the year on loans. To me, it looks like the only one you still owe money to is Interim Cash.

I'd call the NJ banking dept and see what they say. They may be willing to call the pdl's on your behalf, or send them letters stating the NJ laws. You also need to write them letters, and change your bank so that they can't just continue to withdraw money from your account.
