PAYDAY LENDERS TOUT CHANGES AS CONGRESS TAKES AIM

Kyside, I wouldn't trust any of the payday lenders are far as I can throw them. I am glad to see that Congress is cracking down on them. Do you think our complaints had something to do with it?

Kyside, thanks for sharing this. I read this on the way to work this morning and here's where it's obviously a sham: first off, you can only have the extra extension once a year, which means it's business as usual for the rest of it!
And extra education? Wouldn't that be like the anti-smoking education that tobacco companies claim to offer? What are they going to say--don't use their product so they go out of business? Please....
