basically my story is that I was young and thought "oh I will get a credit card for emergencies" well that was short lived. The fact of being able to go out and spend money I didnt have was a dream, and knowing that I didnt have to pay for it all right then and there. But as time went on I started to get more and more in debt, and now I am tired of making payments and not feelng like I am putting a dent into anything.... ugh.. :?

Maybe, you should call your creditors and convince that you are unable to pay at the existing interest rates. It is becoming difficult if it continues like this and you are likely to mess up everything. However, if you can offer them a fixed repayment plan within which you will clear off the debts, they might do some adjustments on your accounts and offer better deals. Go through the DIY section for help on negotiating with the creditors. Or you may speak with a debt counselor for professional advice.
