Prayers please!

Ok, yesterday was my day off. I found out today that a woman I work with named Linda is in the hospital.
Apparently she was talking to some other employees last night when our computers were down and she passed out and fell to the floor. The lady next to her went to her and checked her pulse-she had none, and she was not breathing. So they started CPR immediately. The ambulance took 15-20 mins to show up. They did get her pulse going and put her on a ventilator.
William, one of our supervisors went to the hospital after his shift and explained what happened to her family. They didn't know at all what happened. They let Will go back to see her, and I guess her eyes would open every 30 seconds or so and it was like she was having a seizure. She's got blood in her lungs. Things are not looking good.
It's really upsetting because I know this lady and see her just about every day. I'm seriously freaking out about this. I just want her to be ok. Tonight at work was rough.

My prayes are with her and her family. She will be on the prayer line.

Hey guys...
Got bad news about Linda. She is not doing well, and they will be disconnecting her life support on Mon. Things MIGHT change by then, but it's very doubtful.
I'm the only agent that knows about it..My supervisor Tony is the only other person to know other than her family. They don't want anyone else to know. Why he told me, I don't know. Maybe it's because we're close, and he knows he can trust me. He's taking it very hard because he and Linda were very good friends. And it comes at a bad time, since another friend of his just passed away. Think of him, I worry about him. He told me that they had just been outside talking about 230 mins before everything happened. He is going to be leaving the company in a few weeks and was telling her about it. The last thing she said to him was "I'm going to miss you." He's really upset about it. He's afraid that she knew she would never see him again. Sad. :(
I will be glad on Monday when I'm not the only person who knows. This really sucks.

Jess,
how old is Linda? was she in good health? Hope, they find out what happened to her. Just seems strange this would happen all of a sudden.

To the guest - I pray all day long - for my family and freinds, to do my job well, to have enough money to pay my bills, to keep my good health so that I am able to work, for patience with people who try me. Sometimes it is not concious, but it my prayers are always there - I believe in the power of prayer and I have had many miracles in my life.

She had health problems, but was doing really well. She felt fine that day, she had just been outside with Tony 20-30 mins before it happened. He was leaving work early. Just after he left, it happened.
They are saying she had an embulism? I'm sure I didn't spell it right. Her lungs filled with blood. And since it took FOREVER for the ambulance to get there, (Even though the station is less than 1 mile away..GAHH!) they couldn't relieve the pressure. Scary. She was talking to other employees just normal, and then just fell over.

Jessi pulmonary emboli are very difficult to survive from. Unless you receive treatment almost immediately they can be fatal. I have seen people in the hospital succome to pe's - my son died from one at home - and the squad is only 4 blocks away. I am so sorry for your friend and her family. I can't tell you as there are no words for it.

I'm so sorry..
My husband is someone who recovered from a pulmonary embolism. He is only 30 and is an athlete, so it can happen to anyone..He had unspeakable pain in his legs and his side..It was so bad he could hardly breathe. There is a history of this in his family, so he had a heads-up. The doctor said if he hadn't gotten to ER when he did I would more than likely be a widow today.
My prayers are with Linda's family, this is a terrible thing.
I remember when that happened, Fins, it's scary. :(
