I lost my job before Thanksgiving it took me three months to get a new one. I didn't get any unemployment because the state agreed with my previous employer. So I took a seasonal job for the holidays and that didn't help me. I am more the 60 days late on some of my credit card bills because I needed to make my car payment so they wouldn't repo my car so that I could have it to get to my new job. I also have to pay my rent.

My bils I owe are as follow: I have been receiving collections calls at all hours and all days of the week including at work. Which could get me fired
Bill Me later 1900- Past due 1 month
JcPenny 2100 Past due 2 months
Fingerhut 1500 Past due 2 months
Capital 1 575 Past due 1 month
Chase 450 Past due 1 month
Meinke Card 300 Current
Ge Card 650 Past due 1 month
Discover card 2400 Past due 2 months
MBNA 1700 Past due 1 month
Bank of America 3200 Past due 1 mont
Best Buy 1700 Current
Dell 500 Current
Car loan Current
Student loans deffered
Rent Current
Cable 500 pay half
Cell current
electric current
insurance current
I took out a payday loan and that was a mess since they charge outrageous fees.
I barely make enough to cover my rent and car payment I was going to apply for a debt consilidation loan so that I can have on payment.

Hello Kathy -

Thank you for sharing your story, and welcome to the site.

We do not offer consolidation loans. However, if you registered for the free counseling session by phone when you signed up for this site, you will receive a phone call from a consultant who will discuss your options for debt consolidation or settlement. It's not a loan - it's a plan that will help you get out of debt without having to take out a loan. You are not obligated to participate in that particular plan - you may seek another debt consolidation or settlement agency in your area if you so desire.

We hope you will stay around and post some updates for us, and ask any questions you may have. We're here to help! :D

Welcome to the site. Can you post again and let us know what bill you are referring to? We are not a lending site, nor are we connected to any lender, or creditor. We are a community dedicated to offering advice to people with debt and credit issues.

If you'll post the name of the company you are looking for, we might be able to point you in the right direction.
