MTE/Rio resources and Global Payday both did not claim the registered mail I sent. These are letters for a refund. I emailed both of them as well back in January when I mailed these. Now what should I do?

Rio Resources AKA Loan Point USA AKA Geneva Roth refused to stop ACH withdrawal attempts when my direct deposit was interuppted by accident even though I told them there were no funds. They would make three attempts every payday. My account got overdrawn by 1100.00 in charges due to them. When I told them I was going to press charges they turned me over to a collection agency in Florida where I live and I am sure they are not licensed here. I asked for a validation containing the interest, all the payment attempts successful or otherwise and proof of their license. All along with a mail only contact demand. Lets see what happens. I am looking for a Florida attorney to sue them and any other PDL slime that has caused me harm. any one know a good one?

You must report Rio Resources to the attorney general for making unauthorized debits in your checking account. This will put more weight when you will bring a legal case against them.

Are you sure of the collection agency not licensed in your state? In that case, they must also be reported for doing illegal collections.

Go to your bank and show all the copies of your complaints with the AG. If your bank is helpful, they will revert some of the charges.

hey as well as the AG, file a fraudulent ACH Debit with your bank and they should investigate. Once you get that back from the bank take a copy to your local DA. Thats what i did to ambassador here in oklahoma. i dont know florida law. But this worked for me to recover the money. Also send them letters stating they are no longer authorized to debit your account aside from verbally telling them

I have not heard anything from the collection agency since I requested validation. However Rio still keeps emailing me a form asking me how much I want to pay. I email them back and say I am not paying you. They reply with "We have recieved your payment" or something. They are a very weird lawless bunch. They will all be unemployed soon.
