Has anybody dealt with e-Payday-loan.com?

I just got an email from e-Payday-loan.com. I had defaulted on their $350 loan after paying $50 in principle and $630 in interest. I emailed them the letter from Polly's blog, and quoted NY usury laws, as I am a NY resident. (Payday loans are illegal in NY) They emailed me back saying I applied with a Kentucky address !! Kentucky?
Now what?

Well, I checked my email, and although I don't have the original application, I see that I faxed e-paydayloans my paystub (with my NY address) and my bank (which is also in NY) when I applied. Their website says they don't lend to NY customers-- I wonder what they're up to.

Did you get anything in writing from the loan company before the money was deposited into your account? I think you need to show some proof that you applied from NY, not from KY. Pdls is illegal in NY. Check the company if they are licensed in your state. Visit the NY state banking dept. http://www.banking.state.ny.us/
