How long does a past debt stay on your credit record in the state of PA

Depends on what the record is. If it is a regular negative record,7 years from date of first delinquency. If it is a public record,it could stay up to 10 years. The only state I am aware of that limits reporting times is New York. Just remember that even if it is in your record, everything must be accurate. If they cannot report it accurately,it can be removed with disputes.
