Debt is coming from across the board

Can you give us an idea of what type of debt you are facing? Is it all student loans, or do you have credit card debt as well? We might be able to give you some advice on how to work your way out of it.

Have you considered debt consolidation? If you signed up for the free counseling session when you registered for this site, you will receive a phone call from a consultant who will offer you debt consolidation or settlement options. You're not obligated to use their program, but it will give you some ideas of the programs that are out there to help you.

Also, you might want to pull a current copy of your credit report by going to annualcreditreport.com and obtaining your report from all three bureaus. It's free once per year, or if you've been turned down for credit.
