I was going to school and had 2 miscarriages at the same time. I wasn't making much money and I was trying the best that I could and ended up in over my head. My boyfriend of 5 years then made me very depressed due to moving someone into my home and having a 2 yr old son now.

Are these your own debts or your boyfriend is jointly responsible for his share? If you both are responsible for it, then you should make him pay his portion. You should not take the stress for which he is equally responsible.
