wages. I need help understanding what my rights are in MN. I've contacted all of the PDL companies I have and I have the letter format to stop the auto draft and the letter for my payroll dept to revoke garnishments, but CTC is refusing to work out any solutions. THey just keep threatening me.

If I read the statue correctly the max of a payday loan in MN is 350.00. My loan was 900.00. What are my rights/options. I've been honest and contacted CTC and told them I wasn't able to make the full payment and that could I work out arrangements, but then gave me the song and dance that they don't except partial payments, but by law they would apply it. If I had the payment I'd pay it - I don't. My checking accoutn is in arreas and has been for a while. I just can't get out of the trap.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I did contact Langhorn debt solutions, but I'm so dang scared of getting caught in some other scam, I don't know what to do.

I'm just sick and afraid.

They cannot garnish your wages without a court order. Since they would have to go to court for that, and they are breaking MN laws with your loan, I doubt they will try that. They are just trying to scare you into paying.

If you do a search for ctc on this site you will find a lot of info about them. They are one of the worst ones to deal with.

Just know that they will threaten you with everything they can think off. You will not be arrested or taken to court by them.

You could also call the MN pdl regulators.

They could give you state specific advice on how to proceed with this company.
