I've recently talked to Financira LLC about debt settlement. Has anyone worked with them, heard of them, or have any information on them that would help me in my decision?

They are a reputable company. They are honest and mentioned that it is possible to get judgements, and that credit would get hurt in short term. But is a good solution for people with financial hardship

How is getting a judment a good solution for financial hardship? It is not a debt consolidation firm! They negotiate with CC companies to pay off debt.
You still pay it, they make the money. You could negotiate yourself if you have a hardship. CC companies are pretty understanding.

My husband and I have been using Fiancira for a year and they have been good to us. so far. They help us save our money and get the creditors off our back. We dont have the time or patience to deal with our creditors. And in the end there program saves us including there fees!!

The funny thing is that I tried to settle with the cc companies myself and they kept telling me that my hardship was not good enough. I had a friend refer me to Financira and I could not believe it. The calls did not stop but I changed my number. I did not care. They called me one day to tell me that they got a real good settlement of 33% I did not have the money so they removed their fees for those 2 months and we paid the settlement. It was amazing I did not even suggest it. They suggested it to me. I have not been happier.

These guys can help you out. I'll be honest, it was hard at first dealing with the creditors, and i couldn't deal with the calls. But i kept in regular contact with my customer service rep at Financira and she kept me at ease. I ended up getting a judgement against me, and it freaked me out, but they managed to get it settled, i was so happy.

The process can be stressful but it works. I'm glad i'll be out of debt when i'm done.

Also, i doubt the company makes its own posts. I'm sure they have enough happy consumers to write them. Although, you never know. Who is to say the people writing the bad ones are even its clients? Could just be one really spiteful person or a competitor. Whatever, these guys helped me out, i'm happy.

They work with your situation and give you reassureance that your not the only one with credit card debt and they have been the right choice for us.
Only 24 months left and god willing we will prevail to see the light at the end of a financial situation.

My boyfriend has been sending these guys $252 per month for a year and a half. To date, they have collected $1385 in fees, they have paid two bills totalling just under $1000 and they are sitting on $2195 of his hard earned money, doing absolutely nothing with it. They don't return calls promptly, they don't send emails that they promise and they certainly aren't doing anything that my boyfriend couldn't have done himself if he gave it a shot. I would avoid Financira if possible.

I have worked the Financial Industry for many years. Be aware that any individual can solve their own debt, however it is time consuming difficult. A "third party" has "clout" because they have experience and do this on a daily basis. Do not fall for "telemarketers" trained telephone skills to make you feel inadequate. Know what the difference is between "counseling" and "settlement" and what you can expect. If you want help contact me and I will set you straight. Removed - ND

My car got almost repocess by the Bank because Financira did not explained this consequense prior to signing of contract. I have learned this later on that if you have a property/vehicle that is being finance by the same creditor and you owed them money and you have 3 months past due, by LAW they have the rights to use that as a collateral.
Same thing with Home Depot, they have the rights to come in to your property and pull out all the merchandise that you purchased from them.
Financira is just collecting our money and never done anything like contacting our creditors.
Again, this is a SCAM!!! If you are in deep financial trouble I will suggest that you push the re-set button and just file for bankrupcy instead of this debt relief program. It's a SCAM and its NOT working!!!!

Funny thing is..... at the time of your post, the company wasn't even open for 3 years

2 years 8 months is how long they were in business since this post. I guess their very first customer follows these forums?
