Dealing with mortgage company

I recently went into default on my house mortgage due to unexpected unemployment and the only repayment plan to stop foreclosure is way out of the question. I have tried to talk to the mortgage company but they won't budge. please help.

I am 2 months behind and now they say that I have to up to May or they will forclose. I have contacted a credit counseling agency here in town that are hud certified and my mortgage company got rude with them and said that this is the only deal they would make
