I have sent all my letters, Cease and Desist, Validation letters certified/return receipt to the collection agencies early in Feb. I havent gotten anything in the mail for validation (I'm not suprised) but, my question is, Isnt there another letter (validation-2nd request) that I should mail if no response?

Thanks!

collection agencies usually take 60 to 90 days to validate the debts.

Send a follow up letter to the collection company requesting for the same info earlier requested. Mention the dates when they last received your letter and wait for their response. Make sure that you send this letter CMRRR.

Tweety- A company can take as long as they like to validate, and some never do. I have bben trying to get a company to validat for over a year now!! Have sent dozens of follow up letters for validation, along with a copy of the original letter. They just pass it around to one of their many other companies, and I do the same thing! Good Luck..KAren :D
