Hello, I know it has been a long time..

Hello everyone. I know it has been a long time since I have posted or even been very active in the community. The past several months have been kinda rough, but things are finally starting to look up some what.
I really have missed the community here, and while I have checked in occasionally, I haven't really been able to be as active as I have been in the past. I will try and do better now that things are getting back to normal again.


My wife still has not found any full time employment, but has secured a part time position which pays quite a bit less than she previously made. It not the best, but she seems somewhat happier than she did previously, and that is more important. I am definitely a believer in quality or life over money, so if she is ultimately happier in her lie, then we can adjust and make things work around that.

The really big news is I recently (2/7) got a promotion to a managerial job, and I am now ( finally!) off the road, and actually have a set schedule. Slowly but surely I and beginning to feel like a somewhat normal person. The position is salaried, so it's nice not having to constantly worry about a slow down or other incident having a impact on my pay check. The bad thing is I only get paid once a month, so its going to take a few months to figure everything out and get a new system set up. the salary pays slightly more than I made last year, but the cost savings associated with not having to pay union dues, income insurance as well as travel expenses should also help bolster the bottom line and result in more disposable income.

I hope everyone one is dong well, and finding this year to be more pleasant and prosperous than last year.
