sorry, i don't know the laws for florida. but i have sent my att. general of my state my complaints, and he called me and told me to sit still and he would take care of everything. i still get up tight when these payday loan people call me with there threats. i worry that if i say the wrong thing that they could be recording me and get me into trouble. i try to be nice, but i still worry.

Nita, you might try going to your bank and seeing if they can block the withdrawals. Also, the bank should be able to provide you with contact info if no one else here has it. If they give you an address, I'd send NLS a letter revoking their access to your account, and you may even need to open a new account.

Unfortunatly I don't have nls's address. I would hate to open a new account but it may be the only way to go.

Are these internet payday loans. No, you won't get into trouble, they will tell you that you are going to be charged with fraud and be arrested. Please do not listen to those baseless threats, they are nothing but lies in an attempt to take more money from you. And they will continue to try to take money. You should probably open a new account if you can. Also, file complaints against each company with your state's Attorney General's office.

I sent a letter revoking wage reimbursemen and also a cease and disist letter to impact cash and they called me yesterday and said they received letter and they didn't have to obey those laws. what to do now. I live in DC.

THey can tell you that they do not have to obey those laws but since you have sent them the letters, your behind is covered...make sure your payroll dept knows that you have revoked the voluntary wage assignment..also you need to file complaints with the AG and the FTC on this company!
