desperate for some advice (not delinquent YET, but almost)
Date: Mon, 03/05/2007 - 15:01
i honestly dont know where to start, but what im looking for is to just make like one $500 or so payment a month to ease my way out of this hole.. i dont necessarily want to settle for anything less than i owe. i just want to stop making 8 or so minimum payments a month which is just burying me deeper in this hole.
does anyone know of a company that could help me out? are some companies frauds? any links i can read up on? success stories? (lots of questions i know :( )
like i said im not deliquent on these cards, but the way things are going, i soon will be. any help would be greatly appreciated.
thanks in advance!

Welcome to the Community :D There is a Do it Yourself section, under "Our Services' to the side of your screen you may want to look at. Since you have registered, someone will contact you for your free credit counseling, and discuss options you may have. After they do this, you are free to take it or not. Be sure and check out any company with the BBB, you are right, there are companies that are scams. Read what others have done on the Forums, also there are success stories and testimonials too. If you have any questions, please ask..KAren

Welcome ~ you have come to the right place for help. The people here are wonderful. Sorry to hear about you loosing your job. It is rough when that happens, but pick yourself up and look for another job. Something is better than nothing, until something better comes along. I know from reading here, if you have registered for free consultation, someone will get in touch with you to help you. Trying to take care of the problem before you get behind is a smart thing. I would contact my creditors and let them know what has happened and they might be able to help you out some too. Good luck and hang in there.
