I have talked with several different credit card settlement places and have monthly payments ranging from 460-690 per month for roughly 30,000 in debt. My ? is why are they so different?? one company told me it was due to the types of cards I have and they are harder to settle with. One other quick ?...should you be worried if a settlement company ask for a initial starting fee up front?

During settlement, you open a new account with the settlement company. They will ask you to deposit their fees and some money into that account before they start settling your debts with the creditors. Your accounts will be in default during this time and the companies will not send proposals to the creditors until they have the money in the account. Make sure that you are signed with a reputed company for settling your debts. Do a through research on the company with the DA's office and the local BBB and check the consumer feedbacks.

This company is in Austin Texas and they are scamming consumers. Do not deal with them. They withdrew money each month from our account for services not rendered! They will tell you that they will negoitate with your creditors and that your credit will not be ruined, ALL LIES! We trusted them and due to their breech of contract and our stupidity for believing in them we were ruined. The only thing they managed to do was have us taken to collections and get us even deeper in debt. They claim to be a CHRISTIAN COMPANY but they work for the DEVIL HIMSELF!!! BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE AND TELL ALL YOUR FRIENDS TOO!!! CYdebt is a consumers worst nightmare!!!!

If I may suggest, I have the perfect solution for your situation. It is called a Consolidation debt management Program. It is not a loan nor a settlement, it is a program most people are unaware exists. The program was created by creditors themselves in order to recapture the original principle owed to them instead of risking loosing it, and at the same time allowing you to get out of debt about 75% faster while keeping your payments around the same, or in most instances, actually lowering the payment. This way, most of your payment will go towards your balance which will allow you to save a significant amount of time and thousands on interest. It works by making one simple payment that is distributed to all the creditors for you at lowered prenegotiated rates they are willing to offer you for being on the program. Being on the dmp, most creditors will give you the benefit of waiving late/overlimit fees, plus they will report your account in good standing so it will also help you rebuild your credit if you have deliquencies. It is a win win solution that can lower your payment, save you thousands on interest, pay off your debt 75% faster, plus help your credit at the same time. Neither is there a need to pull credit or be within a certain Debt-to-Income ratio. If you would like to find out more about it, dont hesistate to contact me with any questions, ill be more than glad to help: Edited - ND. If you would like to find out more by talking to someone, you should try this # (XXX) XXX-XXXX.

It's always a shame when a good company falls victim to the slanderous remark of former employees, posing as clients. I spend several hours a week posting my contact info on blogs, just like this, to try to help any of our CLIENTS that might need more attention. If you need some extra help, please contact me. My biggest fear is always that there is a client some where that needs help, that I am unaware of!

If all of DUMB ASS people would read what you are committing to before you sign you would not be having these issues!!!!! Everything that all you FOOLS are complaining about is listed there in black and white for you to read before you commit. Don't blame someone else for your laziness. CYDebt has done everything they promised they would do for me...of course I did take responsibility, read my contract, followed the instructions of CYDebt and now I'm out of debt.
