I have not enough money to pay off bills. Some my husband had before we got married and some want out rageous amounts they want us to come up with. Could you help

Keep re-negotiating with your proposals. They will accept it sometime later because all creditors want their money and you are trying to clear the debts. Most creditors sound hard in the beginning because they don't want to part away from their interests and fees by offering you a lower amount.
If you are unable to re-negotiate with your proposals, take professional help before the creditor decides to send your file to some collection agency.
