My husband and I are getting so for behind on our bills. I lost my job in Janurary, since then we have been falling behind on everything. My husband owes about 16,000 on his truck. I owe about 12,000 on my car. We have a 5,000 credit card that we are late on. We have a $200 credit card that is over $300 more than what the credit limit is. Both vechiles are behind on. I have a $4,000 personal loan that i'm behind on. My husband is in the Marine Corp. We are moving on base so now we are losing more money by moving there. Is there anyway you can help?

You should have no problems in consolidating the unsecured debts and combine everything under one payment plan. I don't know if there is any company that will consolidate your secured debts.

In any way, get started with a reputed company and consolidate the credit card debts and personal loan. You will save extra money through this plan and it can be put towards other payments for your secured debts. A consultant is already referred by this website. Discuss your options and figure the best repayment plan in your situation.

Mandy, Please be careful and check out any company that you plan to use. Call your ASttorney GTenerals office and check with the BBB to see if they are reputable. This day and time it pays to be informed. Best Wishes KYSIDE38

With your husband in the military, you might check into some of the services that they offer. I think you can go to Family Services, I think that is what it is called. Have him check into it. I know when I was married to my first husband, he was Navy, we ran into some problems and were able to get some help. you will have to go through some counseling or at least that is what they use to do, but have him check with his superior and see if they can point him in the right direction and may be able to help in other ways.

I meant to add that being in the military, you have lots of services at your disposal and they are usually free. This is for anyone who is in the military. Also you have the advocates office, and they usually have attorneys there that might be able to help for those who may have gotten into the payday loan trap.

Good luck to you and I sincerely hope that things will improve for you soon. Keep your chin up and have a little faith that all will be worked out.

2nd Band, If I could add something I also think it is great that the government passed a law for the military on these payday loans also. No longer are they able to charge the outrageous fees. YAH!!!! KYSIDE38

These young people in the military get taken all the time, whether it be payday loans or talked into buying an expensive car they really can't afford. I know I am trying to prepare my son for that because there are vultures out there every time you turn around that will try to get some young military persons paycheck.
