O.k. we took out the PDL with Geneva Roth (loanpoint??). Is there a site where you can see if they are licensed in Ohio? What steps can I take to avoid any problems that others have had. I don't want to fall trap to them. We are willing to pay back the loan which I think he was told my a girl named Melissa that it would be 390.00. Can someone gie me any information. Wish we found this site before taking a loan with them. Right now, I just need to concentrate on getting out of this PDL. The Store one we have I am comfortable with taking money until I can get up with G.R. and then I can just start weaning the amount of the loan that we take with the Store one while I pay our med bills.

Another thing is that I just got my final bill from Credit One Bank for my credit card and it is being charged off. I have tried several times to offer them at $20.00 a month as well as Capital One's Attorney Joseph Harrison and no one will accept that because it was not feasible for their clients. That it was not enough to even cover the late payment fees etc. How do I get them to accept a small amount of money that I can afford until May?

Thank everyone

Here is info on payday loan laws:

Simply go to the state by state map and plug in your resident state.

On your other debts, they do not have to take a payment plan. You can try the original creditors to go over the collector's head. If they are not agreeable, you may have to let that sit a little while.

FInd out how much you paid, see if you owe anything based on the laws of OH and if you do, tell them you will only pay what you owe, if you have paid all that is allowable or more by law then demand they mark your account paid in full and send you a letter stating so. Be prepared...they get nasty when they realize you know your laws and rights...
