I am pretty sure that if they do sue you it will be a civil suit-most of them will make repayment arranges with you so long as you send the money in that you say you will on the date that you do it. But the storefronts can and will take you to civil court.

Thank you, Leah, for the advice. I definitely will keep whatever repayment arrangements the storefronts settle on.

YOu are welcome and good luck--I am kind of in the same boat, only mine are all internet and from what i have found out from this site is that they are paid in full per OH law so now all I have to do is convince these companies of this...GOOD LUCK!

Guest, you are not required to register as a member any longer to get assistance with your questions. By telling somebody they have to register and then somebody will assist them with their questions is not acurate.

Although I truly do wish their was some type of verification process to cut down on these posts from hostile posters whose only task they accomplish is to upset our board. I have nothing against guests posting.I would just like to figure out a way to cut down on the useless hostile posts we get on the board. Getting where us mods and admin can barely take a nap around here.Ok stepping off soapbox for now.

It is a public forum. People are going to post, member or not. And I think even guests are entitled to a response.

I think the "pending guest posts" thing is working out really well. We haven't had any problems lately because of that, being called a bunch of yahoos is pretty tame stuff compared to what we've seen in the past!! :D I think that if someone really wants to post stupid nasty stuff they'll register and do it..We've definitely seen that, too!! Does anyone have an address for Starlight Financial, LLC. I think I've paid them double for a $500 loan and would like to close the account. Also, I don't think they are licensed to do business in Ohio.
