I don't think I use an account number on too many of mine because I really didn't know it, but did use my SS# along with my bank information and they figured out who I was.

Make sure that you are aware of the laws of your state before the lenders get any chance to backfire on you.

I appreciate everyone's help on here so much. I am doing letters right now to revoke ach authorization. What should be my next step? I will notify HR tomorrow, even though it will be embarassing, that way they won't try to voluntarily take my wages.

No your not!!!! You have to keep your head about you, stay calm and think positive. You will get through all of this. Look at this as a lesson learned. I think everyone one of us that has found themselves in this situation has learned, the hard way, to stay away from these things. I am not saying that things are going to get easy right away, but it will get better. You just need to take one day at a time and concentrate on that day. Keep you faith up that it is going to work out. One day at a time, just one day at a time! You have a lot of support here. These people have helped me so much that I cannot put into words how I feel. Right now I am trying to save my house from foreclosure. That is stressfull, but am just trying to take things one day at a time. I have dealt with the rude idiots from the mortgage company and get pretty upset sometimes, but I have tried to think positive and I have said a prayer for strength to get through all of my troubles right now and I am hanging in there. I have said a prayer for everyone that has had and is in these situations and you have been included. It will be ok. Keep the chin up!

In your letters also tell them that you revoke any voluntary wage assignment you may have agreed too(they are illegal in OH)...also tell them they cannot contact you at your work number any longer....
