What exactly is CashCall?

I might be wrong, but I think it's a very high interest loan you get from an actual bank...But is exactly the same as a PDL.

There was a company called Republic bank, which is a legit bank, but also offered PDLS..Only they called them "installment loans". If I remember correctly, you had 30 days to pay off the amount of the loan plus interest, then you could re-loan. Anyway, I think Cashcall is the same thing.

I actually have a CashCall loan, and my loan is for 5 years. I'm still confused. ladybugmisty

Is this company relatively new? I haven't heard much about them until recently. Hopefully someone else who has dealt with them will chime in here..

Cash call is horrible to do bussiness with. They charge between 50%-and even 99% interest. DO NOT BORROW MONEY FROM THEM. If you ever fall behind they are quick to sue you.They take advantage of people who are desparate.

Omigosh..I just went to their website to check it out. Talk about predatory lending..59%..That's robbery, plain and simple!

How the hell are you going to be able to pay over $200 a month on a $2000 loan!?! That's bulls**t, and I'm pissed. Once again, I worry about elderly people coming across cashcall and getting ripped off.

I saw their ad on TV one night and gave them a call. I was giving them a bunch of crap and then he asked what state I was in and I told him and he said oh...we can't do business in that state. So their are a handfull of states that they cannot lend in. No I wasn't gonna take a loan from them I just wanted them to go through all their info and waste their time and tell them no thanks because I would rather take something else up the a$$ instead of them.

a$$holes. They make themselves sound all elite, like they are the PREMIER lending institute. Whatever. I really really fear that people are going to be sunk by these thieves.

Hell, I have never dealt with them, never heard of them until today, and haven't dealt with ANY PDL in over a year, but look at me on the bandwagon!!

Elite lending...yeah right...they are subprime predatory lenders. They prey on those who cannot get a loan by other means, dangle a golden carrot in front of their noses, and when they take the bait, the lender laughs all the way to the bank...for years.

There was a discussion here before about these crooks and about Gary Coleman (Different Strokes)doing their commercial!!

Any loan is horrible and that's why I am working to get rid of the ones I have. I will be glad when I am through with them finally.

Fins, I was the one that orginally warned about this company and you are exactly right. I worry about the elderly getting caught up in this. This is one dangerous company. It is an installment process but they also lend a lot more than payday people. Up to 5000. I just wonder how long it would take to pay that one off all of your life? The other one that people need to be aware of is Quick Click loans, they are just as bad. :evil:

GET OUT!!! Gary Coleman advertised? That's pathetic. I knew he had some problems, last I heard he was working as a mall security guard and got arrested for shoving a woman into a gumball machine who asked for his autograph. Go figure.

Can someone 'interpret' the post above? I'm not trying to be funny, I would like to understand what this person said.

The post has something to do with a bunch of buddies planning to take a tour of Russian cities by car and they want advice as to which cities they can pick up "leisure" girls.
