Are they legal to lend in your state? If not I would contact your states department of financial institution. I am sure they would love to hear about this. I know my state does not allow this unless you are licensed in the state. Check it out then call them after hours and give them DFI's office number to call you back at. lol

I'm in OH and they aren't legal to lend here. Thanks for the advice I didn't even think of filing a complaint. I told them to stop calling me at home and especially at work. I like your idea of giving them DFI's number to call me back on! :D

No, but this lady called me a couple of weeks ago and my caller id said Delaware Payment Services, but she said she was calling from AIP. She said she was calling to offer me a loan and I was just wondering if it might have been Paydayavenue/CTC/Sonic trying to get banking info.

This is the funny thing, the lady said that if I wanted the loan, we had to do a 3-way call to my bank, verifying that I have direct deposit and my account is not in the negative :x

These creeps will stop at nothing and are desperate cause the public is getting wise! I saw this commercial on TV last night that I thought was really interesting. It was from something called Consumer Service (or something like that). Anyway, they said that PDLs are short-term loans and not made for long term lending and that you should never borrow more than you can comfortably pay back on the due date. I have seen this twice and can't get to the TV fast enough to read the fine print and see who it is from or if there is a number. Any one else seen this?

I've seen that commercial. It makes me sick because they want consumers to keep coming back. Why don't they just speak the truth for once?

How about reporting these illegal places to the Internet Crime Complaint Center or the IC3? See their website
http://www.ic3.gov/complaint/
I am not sure if they will be accepting the complaint that steelers has, but for all other fraudulent activities done by any online company, they must be reported to them first.

The commercial really tries to make consumers think that "hey these guys sound REALLY sincere, gee--maybe I should trust them" and that is the DISGUSTING part. I would have more respect if they just said "hey, you need money, we got money, but we're gonna charge ya a lot to give it to you. Oh and you might regret you ever borrowed money from us, but hey you asked us remembered". Now I know that would never happen, but at least you would know they were rip offs from the get-go

The Internet crime website accepts all complaints. It is similar to ftc's goals with one important difference. The Fbi reviews the complaints for possible criminal actions. :D   These guys would be perfect to report that stupid bass and assoc.firm.
