that I am not paying them any more money? I have paid them $360 for a $300 loan. I am in Ohio and no rollovers are allowed so I have paid them their principal and then some. Also, I have several more Ipdl's that I should only owe a little bit more. How do I handle those? Pay them what I owe legally then send them a letter?
The Loan Shop-borrowed $200, owe $140
Nationwidecash.com-borrowed $300, have paid $180
500fastcash.com-borrowed $200, have paid $180
Payday Select-borrowed $200, have paid $128.57
Payday OK-borrowed $200, have paid $154.30
Thanks in advance! I am scared that I will put the wrong thing in the letters and get myself in (more) trouble.

What about One Step Cash? Do I just tell them they aren't getting any more money and recite the laws saying basically the same thing? Has anyone had any experiences trying to get a PIF letter from them?

GFSIL keeps calling me at work and asking for my supervisor. They have been advised that they cannot speak to my supervisor because of laws and not to much my supervisor could care less....They called 6 times in a row....Asked for me, my coworker said that I wasn't here and then said..Well I meant P***** (my supervisors name) My coworker said that she could not do that because she wasn't allowed and hung up and then they called and called....URHHH! I have sent them letters and faxes telling them they are paid in full and to leave me alone and i know they have gotten the faxes because both times I faxed them the letter-they called back within the hour after they hadn't called all day....What to do!

Send or fax them a cease and desist letter. Tell them they are not allowed to contact you at work or anywhere else.Be sure to include in the letter that your attorney has advised you that if they violate this request you will sue them and it is a $1000 fine per contact attempt for violations of your fair debt collection rights. That should do it. Be sure to keep a copy and should they attempt to call again, log those calls and sue them!

Sending a cease and desist letter to an origional creditor will only make you look stupid and will make them step up collection efforts. I would pay them because they will eventually just sue you.

If you deal with them at home they won't bother you at work. You can ask them the next time they call to not call you at work and if you work something out with them more than likely they will abide by your wishes. I am talking about the original lender.
