I have a credit cart now in collections

I have a question. I am 23 years old and I have a Master Card Credit Card for $6,000. I have been paying but seems like is not enough and now this account is a collection office and they are driving my crazy. Can you help me? You can also send me a note to email address removed as per forum rules - Mike

Who is the collection agency? You can make them follow the laws during collections. If your account is not sold, try dealing with Master Credit Card. They will collect the payments from you and pull the file back from collections.

Thank you :D . You know this collector told me that they can get into my credit and the can garnish my pay check, is that possible. He was so mean...can I contact my Credit Union where that card is from and talk to them directly like you said?

You could contact your original creditor and let them know that

You could contact your original creditor and let them know that collector is in violation of federal.Let them know you would rather work with them.
