Stating he is "signing off" on a file is not something a collector can do. It would be
???? 807. False or misleading representations ...the implication that your account is going to go legal or is in the legal process. All that a collector is suppose to leave on a answering machine is there name and phone number and maybe the hours they are available. Company name should not be left on a voice mail as someone could overhear your voice mail and that would be third party disclosure.
