I have a few internet loans and two storefront loans that I am working with T&C to consolidate. However, I have to wait until my next paycheck to go any further with T&C. My storefront one will have tried sending their payment through by then as today was my last day to pay it and I didn't have the money. I am closing my account tomorrow so that the other PDL's don't try to take my whole check again in interest, therefore it will also stop the storefront PDL's from going through as well. I know they are licensed in my state so I am kind of scared as to what will happen now. Does anyone know? I have not defaulted on any of my loans yet, but while waiting for T&C and depending on how long it will take them to take action against the companies I probably will. Any suggestions or advice?

You must call the storefront lender and make them aware about your situation. I will be more careful of them because they are a licensed business and can take you to the court if they are not getting their money. Talk to them and get some arrangements done. Keep yourself upfront because this is the only way you will reach to some conclusion. By not talking to them, you will only be surrounded by clouds of uncertainties and you can't do anything. Give a call and get some positive arrangements done.

I called the store that I usually go to and told them of the situation. They said that there is nothing they can really do as far as talking to my debt consolidation company because of the privacy policy. However, she gave me a number to their corporation and legal department. Should I call that number myself or leave it up to the debt consolidation company to make arrangements?

What I had to do was contact the storefront lender and tell them that you are in contact with Town and Country Acceptance to pay off the loan in full and give them their contact number.

Most of the storefronts will try to work with you depending upon which one you have. Some of them going to be a**holes and harass you until the debt has been paid but you can endure it.

Glad that you are seeking help and not trying to fight them on your own.
