Storefront Questions

Here is my situation. I called T&C and they will be taking care of my internet PDL's but when I called them I forgot to list my storefront ones because I was so excited to get the internet PDL's off my back. I have a payment that was due today. I just closed my account and canceled my direct deposit so that the other internet PDL's can't take anymore money out. I know the storefront one is legal in Michigan so I'm just wondering as to what will happen when they try to take money out and my account is closed. I've been with them for over a year now and have never defaulted or missed a payment until now. T&C will not be getting a hold of them until late next week that is why I am scared as to what will happen until then. Anyone have this problem before or know what will most likely happen?


That's what I figured but I didn't know if that would really do anything. I know the people there, they are very friendly, almost like friends now that I've been going there for so long. I just know that they have to go by store policy so I wasn't sure what legally they could do to me. It's not like I'm not going to pay them. They will get paid, just not me directly, through T&C.

Make the call and I am sure you will give us good news. You'll be feeling a lot better after some arrangement gets done with them. Don't take any risks because a licensed storefront lender will not stop if they really have to take the case to the court. If you have good relation with them, just work out something and get extensions on the loan. A clear picture will come out. Make sure that you have the arrangement in writing.

I called the store that I usually go to however, they said because of the privacy policy even if T&C were to call them personally they couldn't do anything about it. I let them know of my situation but she said that they still have to follow through by the guidelines, which I completely understood. She gave me the number to their corporate office for legal claims and I am just debating on whether I should call them and work something out or just wait until T&C can do so?
