Hey everyone,

I am so sorry I haven't been around much lately...Things have been absolutely insane.

I made it through Travel Services training, and am now taking calls on the floor. The job is much more demanding mentally than I thought it would be. The systems we have to use are complicated and hard to use..The airlines screw things up like you wouldn't believe...I spent 3 hours working with Delta to get one ladies reservation fixed...BEFORE SHE EVEN KNEW THERE WAS A PROBLEM! She will be sitting in her seat on her plane to Frankfurt, and she won't even KNOW the trouble I had to go through to get her schedule fixed when the airline "accidentally" unconfirmed a segment of her flight. Gahhh!

So it should be calming down soon. I'll be back to normal soon. Miss me! Love you guys.

Jessi, Sure have missed you. Get some sleep. LOL Love ya KYSIDE38

Ha ha Jeff.

It's getting better.

I am still worn out though...Because my LOVELY (NOT!) new neighbor across the street left their dog outside all night long in the cold, and I had to listen to it bark all night long. They finally let it in the house at 8 a.m., so I fell asleep about 8:30, then had to get up at 9:30 for work. I LOOOOVE getting ONE hour of sleep a night.

And believe me I left a snotty note on their door...For your viewing pleasure, I made a copy..Which I will give to you now.

"I don't mean to be a rude bit**. If you don't want your dog to live in your house with you, I would suggest you find it a new home. I got approximately 1 hour of sleep last night because I had to listen to your dog barking for the entire night. I got home from work at around 1 a.m., and your dog barked from 2:15 until 8 a.m. when you so graciously let your dog in the house when you left.

If I have to hear your dog bark all night long even one more time, I will report you for animal cruelty. It's not fair for your dog to have to spend the night on a cold patio in 25 degree weather. It's also not fair for me, and the rest of your neighbors to have to listen to it. I can not be the only one who suffered.

You know your next door neighbor? He is a single parent with FOUR kids under the age of 7 and I've never heard loud noise from them. But we get to hear your choice of music during the day, and your dog barking at night.

Sincerely,

Jessica P. Across the street"

I let him know who I am, because I DARE him to say anything to me. I'll break his arm...lol

One of the few perks of a small community is no neighbor issues. Also helps when family owns land all around the block.I only have one neighbor, the rest are family. That one neighbor is a single mom taking care of business. The rest being family, you are stuck with them. It helps that nearest family member is in her mid 80's.

Too bad you don't live in a homeowners association . . . Then your neighbor would get fined like $25 a day for having the dog bark like that.

Of course, there are a bunch of downsides to HOA's, but it is nice that with HOA's there's another alternative to calling the police. Plus when monetary damages are involved it tends to make people correct things a bit faster . . . . .

No dog out there tonight. Hopefully this means they're taking me seriously. I asked my uncle if they had her out today and he said just off and on. But they didn't leave her out long.

We let Bell go out on her rope and lay in the grass when it's nice out. And sometimes she'll be out there for a couple of hours...But as soon as she starts barking, her butt is in the HOUSE. I guess we have common sense.

I'd hate for that dog to get picked up by the warden if I have to report it, but the shelter where it's warm is better than sitting outside for 8 or more hours in 25 degree weather. :(
