person owes money they die-they have no home ,no life insurance but they have credit card bills and a lot of them ,they are not married then how do their bills get paid.

That is why I am giving it all away before I die. After I get rid of the house,I will rent, the only thing I will own when I die is my car and it will probably be worthless as it will be more than 15 years old. You can't get blood from a rock, no marriage, no money. I think if I am diagnoesed with Cancer I will run my credit cards WAY up, just like putting $50K on #17 at the Rullette Table, the sky is the limit

I guess there is nothing wrong with spending it while you have it, but running up bills with the intent to NOT pay is probably a crime. Not judging, just talking.

If there are no assets, the will may not even be probated, then a relative will be left to tell the CA the person is deceased. In that case, expect ongoing harassment because they want to collect from someone, even if they are not legally obligated.

No relatives to call to harass if I am dead, its funny how isolating yourself your whole life can have some benefit. My parents will be dead, no brothers or sisters so when I die the collectors will have no one to harass. The love and companionship I got all my life was in monetary form thus like I said I will give it all away before I die.

Yeah running up bills without the intent to pay is a crime but if I was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer tomorrow it would not matter to me if it was a crime or not, I am dead anyhow.

Its kind of like grandpa in "Little Miss Sunshine" he is snorting heroine and he states hes 90 years old, what the heck.

If I am diagnosed with devastating cancer that has a low cure rate then I am going to live it up, spend every last dime and quit being so darn scared.

So you see folks money does not buy happiness or love, bUT it sure can buy some nice stuff even on credit

On loans, CC's, etc., you can get what you call Death and Disibility Insurance. I have one on my Student loan and my auto loan. If ( God Forbid) something happens to me, them the loan are automatically paid off.

NO it won't!

If there are no verifiable assets left then the debt is written off.

Get a life.
