Well, today was my first day at my new job. It went really well. I was a little nervous at first but everyone is so nice there. It is so different from my old job. There is a lot to learn but I think I managed to learn something on my first day. There is a lot that makes no sense to me right now but I know that will change in time. This is truly the right job for me though. I will be working five days per week while I am in training over the next three to four weeks. I have a little studying to do and then off to bed. I have to get used to getting up on a regular basis again. :P

I'm happy for you Mishele :D I know what you mean about getting up on a regular basis. I used to work second shift hours for 3 years, and then when I was moved to day shift, it took me about a month to get used to getting up early. The time I get up now for day shift is the time I would actually go to bed when I was on second shift.

Glad to hear it went well for you. I know it is hard to get up earlier than usual. Heck getting up at 4 A.M. is very hard for me even though I have been doing it for almost 3 years lol. I still take a little nap after hubby leaves for his second job and before the kids get home from school lol. Keep up the good work Mishele!!! :)

YAY Mishele! :) I'm glad it went well.

I know what you mean about things not making sense...I can now do an airline ticket exchange without someone holding my hand, but it still doesn't make sense..I just have to know that EZEI#*/123453445X*1234/OB$250.00XUS35.00XZP3.40XXT25.75/O$MC/OIOMW075606813MAR07#*R#N1.1 can exchange a ticket. Scary.

Thanks guys. I understood a few things on my second day. Sometimes, I feel like a complete moron though but I'm not the only new person. That makes it a little easier. I'm just dragging but now because I'm still trying to get used to the alarm clock again. LOL! The great thing is I get my first full paycheck next Friday :-). That's been awhile.

LOL Irish! Are we going to blow my first paycheck on a party? Although it's tempting, I have a car payment to make out of that. I'm curious to see how much it's actually going to be.... :-) Day 3 wasn't bad at all, mainly I was in training classes all day. I'm sure getting a good work out since we have to walk all over the building. It's so big and I have to walk two blocks from my parking area just to get into the building in the mornings. It's so nice out right now that I actually enjoy it! I'm too cheap to pay to park in the garage. That may change come winter time though :-)

Well, instead of whining about my new job, I'm going to bear with it until I find something else that is closer to home. I'll be learning some valuable information so it can't be all bad. I have some studying to do from home over the next couple of days. I'm going in for a second interview this afternoon for the purchasing position at the local factory. I've also left a voice mail with HR about the office manager position. That would be for a second interview as well. At least I will be getting a paycheck :-)
