Hey everyone, after at least a week of emailing and faxing, I received a response from UCL. Here is the original letter that I sent them. I wrote my own letter with ideas from several that I saw on here and did not cut and paste like they are accusing me of.



Here is what they emailed me in response.





What should I do now? Anyone have any advice? I only owe them $20 on the principle.


2nband, don't cry.It is hard not to do isn't it? I know you have had a hell of a day. I was crying this morning, too because of this pdl mess. Everything will get better for all of us. Unfortunately these banks aren't helping any of us. I can't close my account either because it is SO overdrawn from all these places that won't stop trying to take money then the bank charges $30 every darn time. I will be putting the bank with T & C before all this is over so I can get them paid off, too. I hope your day tomorrow is brighter.

If you can't find something that works good for you on the list, please let me know. I can look around in your specific area and see if I can find anything else.

Thanks Sassnlucy ~ Appreciate it. My weekend isn't starting any better...last night our dogs got out of the fence because my son forget to situate the gate to where they could not get out and we spend almost 3 hours looking for them. We got home around 2:30AM. No we did not find them last night, so none of us slept really well. We called the police and asked them to keep an eye out for them, we left the porch lights on just in case they came home and my husband left the back porch door open in case they came to the back. As soon as we had some light, we went back out again and finially found them around 7:30 this morning, in our neighborhood on someone's front porch. They were tired, timid and dirty, but they are home safe and sound. We are so dang tired and I know I have a massive headache and all of us are grouchy. Husband has not had a chance to look at my car and he has to go to work at his second job in 1 1/2 hours (he had to get some sleep so didn't get to look at it today), so hopefully he can do something tomorrow.

Hope everyone has a better weekend than this past week has been!

Gosh have been forgetting to say anything ~ Monday when I came to work, I called the Main bank about what happened last Friday when I went in to take care of the account. The girl that had been helping us get very angry about what happened and how I was treated. She made some phone calls. When I got home that night there was a message from the Vice President of the bank. My husband called him on Tuesday. He apologized for everything and said the girls that spoke to me were TOLD to open us another account so we would not have to worry about our insurances and such. He apoligized for not being there when I came in and we are "more than welcome" to come back in and open another account and he would be sure to make sure it was done....like we are going to do that after how I was treated, NOT. He also said that they were aware of the insurance that was coming out and they were NOT suppose to close anything out until I came in. He said the situation was going to be handled. I hope those girls that treated me like crap got their butts ripped, along with the bank manager that decided not to do what the VP said to do. My husband said he was very nice on the phone and did not sound at all happy about what transpired that afternoon and that I should have never been treated the way I was treated. Still didn't get any more money back, but at least we don't have to come up with all the OD charges that were on the account. But did want to share this.

Not always true, unfortunatly....In reality it is probably good that we are not with this bank any more. They tend to post debits before credits, their website for ones account can be anywhere from 1 to 2 days behind, the same with checking your account over the phone, when I took my kids in to cash in their savings bonds, the lady that helped us acted like it was a chore to do it...it was 5:30 on a Friday and the bank closed at 6:00 on Fridays, and after the mess I went through and how I was treated last Friday when I went in there to take care of the accoung, well I would say that the branch in our town, has crappy customer service. The girls I dealt with were looking down their noses to me and it took everything I had to walk out of that bank with my head held up. I felt so humiliated and ashamed when I left there, it wasn't funny. This bank is not necessarily small in our area because they have several branches in 3 different towns. Guess you find this all over though.

Must be something about talking about these pdl companies and no phone calls for a while that starts the phone ringing. I have had 4 calls in a row from an unknown number. No one ever leaves a message, but I am not suppose to be on my cell phone at work, so I don't answer, unless I it is my husband, kids or my mom, but most of the time they call my work number anyway.

2nd, answer when you can...a phone call goes a long way!! (but you of course know that). I actually wish that GFS would call me. I've been emailing them all effing day!!! I call them, and get their voicemail...leave messages, they don't return my call. LOL Yesterday - I didn't want them to call me, Today I do! I wish Brad Ragan would call me too!! I've emailed him, and he didn't call me...that b@stard!!! PD6/Xpress Cash took $400 from my account under the name of Westbury. I filed fraud charges with my bank...

I slwo received the same form letter nad I told them that theirs was truly a form letter and that they lied because on my letter they stated that they sent a summary telling me the options for payment and I told them I never received any type of notification from them. I received yesterday a message from the BBB they had answered my complaint to the BBB and I then responded and told them they were not going to bleed me anymore there was not going to be any more money been paid that they could keep the $210 I overpaid if they wanted to but that I expected a "Paid in Full" letter. I did not realized until I got into the forum the different alliases they use so I ended up with a loan from them, 500Fastcash, One Click Cash, Paycheck Today, they got really upset when I got the bank to reverse the payment for $390 they took out on 3/23/07. Then they treatened us with reporting us to the Credit Bureau and turn us in to a collection agency, oh I forgot they accused my of fraud because I have done the same thing to other pdl companies (referring to all of theirs) I overpaid in all loans so they have enough money to cover all loans.

All my pdl companies know the situation...several marked my account PIF, got a refund from one, not heard a response from another in reference to that (MagnumZLLC), one has already told me they were sending me to collections and responded to my BBB complaint (see my thread reference BBB response from Midland Marketing), Route66, been fighting with them and do not care to talk to them any more and United Cash loans has already screwed me for the last time, and none of them can get any more money because the account was closed as of last Friday. If someone needs to talk to me, then I guess they can leave a message because as far as I am concerned, all accounts are PIF and I am in NC so pdls are prohibited anyway, so.... When I get tired of hearing my cell phone, I turn it off. As soon as the school year is over, I plan on changing the cell phone number anyway, so a couple of more months...

With me I have an answering machine and id caller they never show their name so it shows "unknown name" so I never bother calling those numbers. I can't wait until I hear from them regarding One Click Cash, I have not been sent the form letter yet. Yes, they are very rude when they call my husband and they did not like his answer they hang up on him they turn around and email him with a settlement letter asking him to pay the $390 (even though they owe us money). they gave him 48 hrs to answer.
