I have been e-mailing back and forth with oneclickcash which turned the account over to pinion collections. Well I told them about all the times they tried to debit my checking account and all the fees I got from that plus that they over charged me (according to my state laws) on the nsf fees also. Well to start out they wanted me to pay them $505. I already had 2 rollover fees that were taken out before my bank closed my checking account. Well today they sent me a settlement offer of $175. Do I try and hold out for them to pay back some of my nsf fees from my bank. They were allowed to present the check twice. And they tried 8 times in one month so that cost me $232. this is part of what they sent me today.

I need opinions PLEASE!!!!

I tried to talk to my bank about this and they said that because I took out these loans that they cannot reverse the charges. But that was the corp. office. Maybe I should go to the local office and talk to them. Or have my states DFI contact them and tell them something. I would love to have my money back. I don't even know how to word that to my bank to have them verify it.

I was thinking about accepting the offer.

Ok I contacted oneclickcash and told them that I would accept the offer but i couldn't pay until April 13th. They sent back the e-mail saying that, that was fine but to make sure the payment is there on that day. So on April 13 th I will have one less payday loan wooohoooo. Plus I saved myself $330 buy settling :) now I have to be that firm with the rest of them. They are starting to go down faster now :)

Congratulations! It's great that they are settling for the principle!

As far as the NSF fees go, I would go down to the bank and tell them again that the transactions weren't authorized, and as such you shouldn't be responsible for the NSF fees. If you still have problems I would talk to someone in your states DFI. Since they regulate banks they may have more pull with the bank then just a regular person.

But it also may not work. I ended up getting stuck with $680 in NSF fees when I was going through my pdl mess. The bank refused to help, and my states banking dept couldn't influence them because the bank is so big. But part of that was because I lost my purse, and so there were other issues involved. Plus I live in another state so you could have a totally different outcome than I.

At least you have the pdl taken care of!!! :D

Well as I stated before I did accept the settlement offer (wooohooo one more down :) )

Now on the nsf fees. I have been working closely with my DFI so I sent her the info along with the BBB complaint. She already has my bank statements and sees what all the companies did to my checking account. Anyway she told me that in order for the bank to give me back the nsf fees I would have to file a claim with the bank. But it cannot be any later than 60 days from the date it happened. Bummer so I am stuck with them at the bank. BUT... she is going to work on getting a refund from oneclickcash for the nsf fees because they tried to withdraw from my account in unauthorized amounts. So for now I pay the settlement amount and then with luck oneclick will be sending me most of that money back lol. I will let you all know when I hear something from her. I just e-mailed her the info she asked for and she said she is going to do some figuring :) I really like her. She never had a change in the tone of her voice when I told her all about the different PDL's I had. And she told me to send her everything I had and is working very hard in helping me deal with the internet ones. We (WI) are VERY lucky to have someone like her in the DFI. She hates the internet payday loan companies, can't imagine why?
